In The Box: Would You Wear These Converse?

Some things never go out of style or get old, like a pair of fresh kicks from Converse. I’ve been rocking them since my late teens, and here I am in my 50s still calling them my go to shoe. Just unboxed this funky new pair with prints and a big logo but now I want to know: Would you wear these, and how would you style them? This blog post is up with the full unboxing!

There’s something about Converse that never gets old to me, maybe that’s why they’ve been my favorite shoe for decades. I wore them in my teens, I wore them raising kids, and here I am in my fifties still reaching for them. Converse just works with everything, baggy jeans, dresses, shorts, funky skirts, girl you name it.

But, this time, I wanted something different. So, I just unboxed a fresh pair with flowers and a bold logo that make them stand out from the classic styles. They feel youthful, fun, and a little funky and it’s exactly the vibe I love. Honestly, I am going to wear these for my birthday! :) 

For me, shoes have always been more than just something to walk in, they set the mood for an outfit. A bold pair can turn plain jeans into a whole statement, or give a simple dress that funky edge I love. These Converse feel like a little reminder that style doesn’t have to blend in.
